Job summary

Variety Care's Enrollment and Eligibility team seeks a Certified Application Counselor to assist clients with online applications for SoonerCare and the ACA Marketplace. You will guide clients through enrollment with accuracy and empathy.

You will educate clients about subsidies and responsibilities, help set up Marketplace accounts, and coordinate with WIC classes to promote access to care. Strong CAC certification, a high school diploma, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete CAC training and certification.
• Register with OK Insurance Department as Navigator.
• Experience using a computer.
• Basic communication skills.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with online application and enrollment for SoonerCare, Soon To Be Sooners, and ACA Marketplace.
• Provides education about health insurance, subsidies, and responsibilities.
• Educates clients about premium obligations and plan options.
• Assists with Marketplace accounts and enrollment navigation.
• Performs outreach to promote enrollment assistance and connect clients to services.
• Follows up to complete enrollment and handles exemptions/appeals as needed.
• Coordinates with Variety Care staff to resolve enrollment barriers.
