Job summary

Variety Care in Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Application Counselor to assist clients with online applications for SoonerCare and ACA Marketplace enrollment. The role includes educating clients on health insurance options and subsidies, and enrolling eligible individuals in SoonerCare or Medicaid programs per OHCA rules.

You will conduct outreach, coordinate with Variety Care staff, and support the Patient Centered Medical Home approach while ensuring culturally and linguistically appropriate

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Completion and certification as Certified Application Counselor (CAC).
• Register with the Oklahoma Insurance Department as Navigator.
• Experience handling confidential information and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with online application and enrollment for SoonerCare, Soon To Be Sooners, and ACA Marketplace.
• Educate clients about health insurance terminology, subsidies, and tax credits.
• Enroll eligible clients in SoonerCare or other Medicaid programs per OHCA rules.
• Perform outreach to raise awareness and coordinate with Variety Care staff.
