Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Paramedic/Firefighter for the Darien Fire/EMS Department, Sharon Fire & Rescue and Walworth Fire & Rescue contracts in Wisconsin.

The role involves delivering emergency medical care and transportation to patients at the EMT level within the required scope of practice. Qualified candidates must hold a Paramedic license, a Wisconsin Firefighter I Certificate, CPR certification, and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, with ACLS or PALS

Qualifications

Paramedic License or higher is required
Wisconsin Firefighter I Certificate is required or preferred
1 year EMS experience
CPR certification is required
21+ years old and valid Wisconsin driver’s license
ACLS/PALS preferred with Metro training
Background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical are required

Responsibilities

Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT/paramedic level within their scope of practice as defined by Wisconsin DHS
