Job summary

Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in Culver City, CA to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for Studios teams globally. You will work across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of network, systems, and storage.

The role requires hands-on expertise in enterprise networks, cloud infrastructure, administration of Linux/Windows systems, and strong collaboration with production and engineering

Qualifications

• Experience in network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies
• Experience in systems administration (Linux/Windows)
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems with strong analytical skills
• 5+ years of hands-on systems engineering and administrative work in networking, storage systems, OS experience

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Network, Systems and Storage solutions across on-prem, cloud, and production facilities globally.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for network equipment, storage arrays, and server infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot complex issues in large-scale environments.
• Provide hands-on support at production facilities, post-production sites, and remote work environments; respond to alerts and incidents.
• Execute storage provisioning, data migration, and capacity management; develop scripts and automation tools.
• Collaborate with production teams, engineering groups, and vendors to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Network, Systems and Storage infrastructure.
