Job summary

NBCUniversal's NBC Sports division seeks a part-time, limited-term Production Support Analyst in Stamford, CT to serve as the first line of support for our 24/7 operations. The role focuses on metadata entry and editing, asset ingest, and assisting with content distribution and retrieval.

You will work with on-air production teams, manage digital deliveries, monitor storage, and help onboard new clients for content acquisition using tools like Mediashuttle and Latakoo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in TV Production or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in broadcast or post-production environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support Production units with metadata entry and editing.

• Manage daily ingest of recorded events and catalog content.
• Monitor storage levels across workgroups and spaces.

Job Description

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

This position is responsible for the support of our various Production units within NBC Sports. The role serves as a first line of support for Production that runs 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with Content Metadata and/or Enhanced Descriptive Metadata entry & editing
• Supporting our on-air Production teams with external media tape loads & equipment loans
• Assist with onboarding of new clients for content acquisition (Mediashuttle, Latakoo)
• Digitization of physical assets into the NBC Sports MAM
• Managing the daily ingest of recorded events (pressers, shows, sporting events) and cataloguing appropriately
• Monitoring & managing the storage levels of multiple workgroups and workspaces
• Providing daily support to Production in prioritizing asset restore requests in a timely period
• Assisting Production in both the distribution and retrieval of content using various digital deliveries (MediaShuttle, DropBox, etc.)

Basic Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to understand immediate issues and respond to meet day-of-air deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and responsiveness skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
