Qualifications

  • Manage and mentor a team of media planners and senior planners, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Partner with finance and operations to manage scopes of work, budgets, and profitability.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and innovations to continuously evolve planning practices.

Job description

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Media Supervisor to lead the planning function within our media department. This role is ideal for a seasoned media strategist who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is passionate about building integrated, insight-driven media plans that deliver measurable results.

As the Media Supervisor you will oversee the development of media strategies across all channels, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand positioning. You will lead a team of planners and collaborate closely with buying, analytics, creative, and client service teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning and development of integrated media plans across digital, traditional, and emerging platforms.
  • Translate client business goals into actionable media strategies and KPIs.
  • Oversee the use of syndicated research tools (e.g., MRI, Comscore, Nielsen, GWI) to inform audience targeting and media mix modeling.
  • Guide the team in evaluating media consumption trends and competitive activity to uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with media buyers to ensure flawless execution and optimization of campaigns.
  • Present media strategies and performance insights to clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Manage and mentor a team of media planners and senior planners, fostering growth and excellence.

  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and innovations to continuously evolve planning practices.
Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of media planning tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong grasp of digital media channels (programmatic, paid social, SEM, video, etc.) and their role in the broader media ecosystem.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.

  • Experience with omnichannel planning and performance-based media.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid or fully remote team environment.
