The New School is seeking Media Studies Tutor specialists to support peers in production courses across audio, video, design, coding, and camera areas. Tutors provide demos, instruction, and guided practice, not completing work for students, and guide independent learning.
Hybrid work schedule (on campus 1–4x per week) with remote study sessions; compensation is $29.20 per hour under the SENS-UAW Local 7902 agreement.
The MA, Media Studies program is hiring tutor specialists who can help peers students in production courses learn skills related to software and hardware supported in media practices courses.
Hybrid/Split - Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent percentage of time on campus (ex 1-4x/week) and also work some of the time remotely.
Hourly Rate: $29.20
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between SENS-UAW, Local 7902 and the University
