The MA, Media Studies program is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistants to support the program’s current, alumni, and prospective student outreach. As designer and editing assistant for the MediaLog monthly newsletter tailored to the MA, Media Studies community that includes current students, faculty, staff, and alumni, coordinating as well on social media production. The Communications Assistant will work closely with the MA, Program Director to solicit and aggregate news items, copy edit, manage design elements, and maintain an organized template for delivery to the AMT operations team for and deployment of the newsletter in a timely manner. They additionally send email blast reminders and maintain a social media presence via instagram and additional platforms.
Hybrid/Split - Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent percentage of time on campus (ex 1-4x/week) and also work some of the time remotely.
Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr
