The New School’s Marketing and Communication seeks a Digital Content Student Assistant Content Creator to support the Digital Content team in filming, editing, and asset management. The role offers on-campus work with potential hybrid arrangements and a typical 15–20 hours per week schedule.

Read on! The New School’s Marketing and Communication (M&C) seeks a multifaceted student to assist the Digital Content and Engagement team. At Digital Content, we are responsible for coordinating, managing, and producing video and photography assets to promote the entire university. The student assistant will work under the supervision of the Senior Digital Content Producer in the primary functions of filming and editing content (video and photo) as well as assisting in the management and distribution of different media assets. The Digital Content Student Assistant Content Creator will have the opportunity to work on creative projects in photo and video while acquiring in-demand real-world skills of digital asset management and production. The right candidate will have a strong sense of taking initiative and is eager to learn new skills. The Digital Content Student Assistant Content Creator will work out a schedule with the Senior Digital Content Producer that is conducive to both, but one that could be flexible for fewer or more hours depending on academic calendar and need. Applicants should anticipate working up to 20 hours per week during the academic year. Applicants need to maintain a reasonable but dedicated schedule and preferably have the ability to commit to at least 1 year in the position.
This position is primarily in-person and is based on campus to support effective in-person collaboration and engagement. #LI-DNI Hybrid work arrangements may be considered on a case‑case basis, depending on the nature of the role and operational needs. Any such arrangement must be discussed and approved in advance by the appropriate division lead or their designee.
$18.00/hour
