Job summary

Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Sales Account Associate—the entry-level training track designed to grow you into an Account Executive for Hearst Television’s Gulf Coast NBC/ABC. You will learn all facets of local linear and digital television sales under the guidance of the Local Sales Manager and reporting to the Director of Sales.

This 9–12 month program covers sales proposals, client presentations, marketing materials, data analytics, and hands-on software tools such as

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent social, intrapersonal, and presentation skills.
• Must be focused and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with our teams (including sales, commercial production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of campaigns.
• Manage sales database in Microsoft Dynamics.
