Job summary

AMC Global Media seeks an Analyst, Spec Adherence to join the Media Operations & Engineering team in New York, NY. The role focuses on evaluating media assets for QC compliance, liaising with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to specs.

You will evaluate redelivered or corrected assets, track QC reports, and help determine approvals or rejections in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Media Linear Broadcast or Non-Linear distribution experience.
• Bachelor's degree in communications or media.
• Proven success evaluating media assets.
• Ability to incorporate new tools and best practices for a media team.
• Collaborator and problem solver.
• Knowledge in media industry lingo, filetypes, codecs, and collateral types.
• Experience in screening tools like GLIM or Media Central.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with QC, Acquisitions and Media Prep teams to ensure best practices across teams.
• Report, track, troubleshoot, and update rejection/acceptance criteria.
• Work with QC team to clarify issues and make informed decisions.
• Accept or reject media assets based on QC report evaluation and spec adherence.
• Request supplier redeliveries or conformance and collateral repair as required.
