Job summary

The University of Pikeville is seeking a FMA PROGRAM ASSISTANT Level II to support various shoots and editing projects within the FMA lab. You will work closely with faculty and advanced assistants to create high-quality content and gain hands-on experience in media production.

Responsibilities include shooting, lighting, editing support, and helping maintain the FMA Lab; ideal for students with a solid media skill set who want to grow creatively and technically.

Qualifications

• Ideal for students with a solid foundation in media skills and a desire to grow creatively and technically.
• Experience with shooting, lighting, and editing is preferred.
• Supports faculty and upper-level assistants on media projects and class shoots.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of video content, including shooting, lighting, and editing support.
• Support upper-level assistants and faculty on media projects and class shoots.
• Help maintain FMA Lab organization and assist fellow students with projects.
• Contribute ideas to media projects, collaborating with other assistants and faculty.
• Collaborate with Pike TV staff to support live campus events and sporting broadcasts in a hands-on support capacity.
