Job summary

AMC Global Media in New York, NY is seeking an Analyst, Media Prep to join the Media Operations & Engineering team. You will act as the main liaison with the AMCN B&T group, ensuring all content passes quality control and is ready for any reformatting needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in media or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience with digital video and audio specifications. The base compensation is $55,000–$62,000, with a comprehensive benefits package and optional remote

1+ years of experience in digital video and audio specifications.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Liaise with AMCN B&T to ensure content passes QC and is ready for reformatting.
Create placeholders and manage delivery of video, caption, and audio description files.
Coordinate delivery timelines and QC expectations with scheduling and acquisition teams.
Review assets post-QC and arrange redelivery to meet technical specs.
Create work orders for captioning proxies, fixes, conforms, and VOD as needed.
Perform asset availability discovery for inventory and budget purposes.
