NBCUniversal Local is seeking a Manager, Media Operations to join the TechOps team supporting the NBC4 & Telemundo 52 Los Angeles Media Operations Center. You will oversee day-to-day operations and guide editorial and production teams.

As the on-site leader in Universal City, you’ll hire, coach and manage staff, ensure SLAs are met, and collaborate with vendors while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading operational functions of mid to major market news or live event production operations.
• Experience with media asset management systems and methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Media Operations team delivering media support for content production.
• Provide processes, resourcing and guidance to meet team objectives & SLAs.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and performance management in accordance with station policies and collective bargaining agreements.
• Hire, coach and develop team members throughout their career journey.
• Develop & maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication.
• Contribute to the design, development, and execution of new workflows, projects and initiatives.
• Partner with 3rd party vendors and internal service providers to best service the needs of the operation and business.
• Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal cyber security policies and standards.
