Qualifications

• 5+ years as content coordinator managing others.
• Extensive sports league content experience.
• Knowledge of NHL, teams and broadcast partners.
• Proven footage and media requests tracking.
• Strong post-production workflow knowledge.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & Media Encoder.
• Video metadata knowledge (frame rates, audio, codecs).
• Experience with external broadcasters.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Ice Chest, NHL’s internal video distribution platform via Imagen.
• Primary contact for content delivery and discovery on Ice Chest.
• Manage ingest, organization and archival of media assets for NHL Productions.
• Improve organization, metadata and accessibility within Ice Chest.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance Ice Chest functionality (search, tagging, UX).
• Coordinate media management across active and completed projects.
• Track status of media workflows and meet archival deadlines.
• Maintain tracking documents and logs for footage and assets.
• Troubleshoot basic Ice Chest and media workflow issues.
• Educate internal teams on file management and archival procedures.
