Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Practice Manager for Media & Entertainment to lead, coach, grow, and partner with technically skilled, customer-facing Video and Cloud Architects for the M&E vertical.

This role is based in the US or Canada supporting lighthouse customers across the media industry. As part of AWS ProServe, you will shape delivery, develop talent, and drive cloud-enabled workflows spanning Content Production to Video Distribution.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in customer-facing roles.
3+ years of program or engagement management leading other project managers.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges.
Experience in IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers and collaborate with AWS sales leaders, business development leaders and engineering teams to drive design wins and platform adoption for Media & Entertainment customers on the AWS platform.
Enjoy developing technical talent to achieve great things. Train, educate, and enable cloud computing experts for a diverse enterprise and mid-market customer base.
Guide AWS Service teams with roadmap feature sets and Marketing teams with solution messaging for media workloads.
Lead a team of technical consultants/architects and travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.
Foster thought leadership and help teams ramp-up on AWS while expanding executive and industry interaction skills.
