Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Global Practice Manager for Media & Entertainment to lead and coach a team of Video and Cloud Architects, driving cloud-enabled video workflows for studios, broadcasters, and OTT providers.

You will collaborate with Sales, BD, and Engineering to win designs, shape solutions, and mentor talent while traveling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT consulting/management in customer-facing roles.
3+ years of program or engagement management leading other project managers.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers and collaborate with AWS sales leaders, business development leaders and engineering teams to drive design wins and platform adoption for Media & Entertainment customers on the AWS platform.
Enjoy developing technical talent to achieve great things, educating, training, and enabling cloud computing experts for a diverse set of enterprise and mid-market customers.
Have a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions, business-IT transformations, or relevant consulting experience.
Interact with other AWS departments and guide service roadmaps and marketing messaging for media workloads.
This is a customer facing role with travel to client locations as needed.
