Job description

Role Overview

PIC North America, a Genus Company,has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a highly motivated media and content manager responsible for developing and executing communications tactics for the rollout of PIC’s new product globally. The media and content manager will be responsible for designing and developing graphics and resources, actively monitoring trends and media opportunities, and writing content for global audiences.

The successful candidate has the ability to work and maintain performance expectations in a culturally diverse, fast-paced environment and establish priorities and meet deadlines. Additionally, the candidate will work collaboratively across global, functional teams and should have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent writing and presentation skills, expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and the ability to communicate in an organized and concise manner.

The salary range for this position is ($60,000 - $85,000) USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Remote work considered; experienced international candidates considered.

You Will
  • Manage media and monitor trends, including analysis
  • Actively monitor emerging media trends and target media to identify potential issues that could impact brand.
  • Provide strategic recommendations related to issues management and reputation efforts.
  • Develop and lead issues tracking and reporting processes.
  • Maintain issues and crisis plan and support response efforts.
  • Assist with the development and execution of effective and timely communication strategies, which may include news articles, press releases, presentations, videos, multimedia, social media posts, videos, photoshoots, internal and external resources and infographics.
  • Develop, design and write communications (e.g. scripts, memos, articles, advertisements, talking points, presentations) that are compelling, accurate, clear, in line with our brand voice, and timely.
  • Liaise with global marketing team to effectively enhance communication to international markets.
  • Assist with the roll out of new product marketing, including building and maintaining global social media calendar.
  • Maintain external website and digital asset library.
  • Support the research, planning and execution of partnerships, events and influencer relationships.
  • Manage research and execution for award submissions.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, messaging and brand standards.
  • Manage material review process to ensure internal alignment and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain spokesperson library.
  • Help manage consumer research and its global application.
Requirements
  • University degree in Communications, marketing, graphic design or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with graphic design, including Adobe Creative Cloud, especially PhotoShop and InDesign
  • A minimum of 1 years of experience with Word Press
  • Familiarity with AP style
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
