Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants must have at least an Associate's Degree or 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a public school setting is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the media specialist, helps to maintain and oversee a positive learning environment.
• Assists the teacher in implementing daily learning experiences aligned with grade level and instructional mission.
• Collaborates with the teacher to support curricular planning and classroom environment decisions.
• Assists with accommodations required for students.
• Helps promote a safe, secure, healthy learning environment.
• Works with individuals or small groups for behavior or academic issues.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
