Job summary

Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) through USAARL invites a post-bachelor or post-master's candidate to join the PACER group at Fort Rucker, AL. You will engage in research on medical evacuation, patient care, and device testing under a mentor, supporting future Army MEDEVAC platforms.

The appointment runs for about one year, with possible extension. Stipends range $55,000–$65,000 annually, plus health insurance options and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Degree: BS or MS in engineering, bioengineering/biomedical engineering, or related field. Must be earned within 60 months of start date.
• Minimum GPA: 3.0.
• U.S. citizenship required; background clearance needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in PACER research projects at USAARL under mentor guidance.
• Investigate technologies to enhance MEDEVAC patient care and transport.
• Collaborate with Army organizations and other teams on research activities.
