Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician B responsible for lubrication, preventive maintenance, and repair of all equipment. You will troubleshoot and service mechanical systems to keep manufacturing lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, solid mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills. Overtime and on-call duties may be required; familiarity with blueprints and machine shop equipment is a plus, along with GMP compliance.

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interaction

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment
• Perform lubrication and preventative maintenance (PM) on mechanical equipment
• Assist the Electronic Technician with electrical and electronic duties
• Perform welding, machining, and millwright duties
• Assemble and install new mechanical equipment; enter work orders in the maintenance management system; read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Maintain all equipment in good running order; perform route checks and report deficiencies
• Ensure the job site is clean and free of hazards; follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Perform other duties as required
