Job summary

Global Medical Response, via Med-Trans, is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. Responsibilities include safe transport with a medical team, ensuring aircraft readiness per FARs and Med-Trans rules, and maintaining accurate regulatory records.

Minimum qualifications include a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA Class II Medical, and substantial flight hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Must have helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold FAA Class II medical certificate.
• Total flight hours at least 2,000; helicopter hours 1,500; PIC hours 1,000.
• Must have 500 turbine helicopter hours and 200 night flight hours.
• Preferred: B407 aircraft experience; HS diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a team of medical professionals.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements; maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information and record Med-Trans changes.

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
