Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport for Med-Trans customers. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations, ensuring aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

The role requires FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical certificate, and extensive helicopter flight hours. Preferred qualifications include B407 aircraft experience and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities with a medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and Med-Trans requirements, including aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following Med-Trans change board protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
