Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will work with medical experts to transport customers safely, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.

You will document accurately and coordinate with dispatch and flight crews, maintaining certifications and ongoing training. The role requires current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and extensive flight hours including

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 Hours Night Unaided or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with medical teams to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information per Med-Trans change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $99,410 – $109,351 including 12% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
