Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans division is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with a team of medical professionals to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities.

The role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, along with extensive flight hours and night-hour experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Must hold a helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FARs, and Med-Trans requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilott to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readinessas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Transrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
