Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans unit seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will join a team of medical experts to move passengers safely and maintain aircraft readiness and regulatory documentation.

The role requires rotorcraft certification, instrument rating, medical certification, and extensive flight hours, including turbine and night experience. On-duty housing and competitive incentives enhance this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate with instrument rating.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight hour thresholds per category are listed in the posting.
• Experience with turbine helicopters and night flight is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and regulations.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilots and team per change board.
• Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements
