Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii seeks a skilled RN to provide direct patient care and supervise LPNs and nursing assistants. This Hawaii Nurses and Healthcare Professionals Bargaining Unit represented position is a temporary assignment with potential to transfer per unit needs.

You will delegate tasks, administer medications, and act as a resource nurse, preceptor, and charge nurse as assigned, while upholding KP Vision, Model and Values.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in Hawaii.
• BLS from American Heart Association.
• ACLS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and directs LPNs and nursing assistive personnel.
• Delegates nursing tasks per guidelines and policies.
• Administers medications.
• Teaches and mentors LPNs and assistive personnel.
• Acts as resource nurse, preceptor, and takes charge duties.
