Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Med Technician to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with activities of daily living. This role supports the nursing team by providing compassionate care and ensuring resident comfort.

Requirements include state certifications where applicable, with duties extending to daily care, documentation, and collaboration with health-care leadership. Evening and weekend shifts may be required in this drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and housekeeping.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document completed tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to the Health Care Director and other staff.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
