Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Med Technician to join the nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration and assist residents with activities of daily living, helping them stay comfortable and engaged in a supportive community.

This part-time role covers 2nd and 3rd shifts (3:00 pm–11:30 pm and 11:00 pm–7:30 am). You will document tasks, communicate with the Health Care Director, and participate in holistic care that enhances residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• State Med Tech certification is required.
• Ability to assist with medications for residents.
• Ability to support daily resident care and activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, meals.
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs to Health Care Director clearly.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Med Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Schedule

• Part-time 2nd and 3rd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm and 11pm-7:30am)

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident's physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
