Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Med Technician to support the nursing team by coordinating medication administration and assisting residents with daily living activities. This role involves ensuring residents receive medications safely, aiding with personal care, meals, and comfort, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

The position may require evenings and weekends as needed; certification to pass medications is required and the employer conducts drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must hold state certification to pass medications.
• Experience coordinating medication administration preferred.
• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Aid residents with daily care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond appropriately.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Med Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities - Med Technician

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
