Job summary

Legend Senior Living® in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Med Technician to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with daily living activities. You will contribute to a caring environment that emphasizes residents’ comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• State certification to pass medications.
• Experience caring for seniors preferred.
• Ability to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care: personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort; respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements.
• Communicate clearly with other staff about urgent needs for the next shift and concerns to the Health Care Director.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Med Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities-Med Technician

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident's physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
