Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Med Technician to join our nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and quality care in a supportive setting.

You will document tasks, communicate with the Health Care Director, and contribute to a respectful, drug-free workplace. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• State certification to pass medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care (personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals).
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director.

Job highlights-Med Technician

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Med Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
