Job summary

Legend Senior Living® in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Med Technician to administer medications for residents and assist with daily living activities. You will support nursing staff, monitor comfort, and document care as part of a compassionate team.

The role may require evenings/weekends as needed. The organization emphasizes a drug-free workplace and ongoing education for staff and residents’ well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with daily care of residents including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, meals
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding accordingly
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records
• Communicating urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director
• Managing assigned tasks within the scheduled shift and following safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
