Job summary

Westmont Living is seeking a compassionate MED TECH to support residents in a senior living community. The role requires handling medication setup, assisting with administration, and meticulous MAR documentation under RN supervision.

Qualifications

Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
Must pass health screen (e.g., TB, drug test).
Must have current basic first aid or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Ability to work at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

Perform medication set-up and assist residents with the Medication Program and self-administration.
Set up, record, and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or RN and RSD.
Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance; ensure MARs have no blanks.
Document reasons for PRN medication and effectiveness on MARs.
Comply with policy and state requirements for medication documentation.
