Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and observe residents during and after passes.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certification, and a Medication Administration certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Medication administration certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills preferred.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
