You will administer per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents during passes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and clear communication, with a focus on preventing errors and protecting resident safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medication Administration certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
