Job summary

Monarch Communities Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Certified Med Tech to provide quality resident care and assist with medication administration per care plans. The role emphasizes compassion, dignity, and adherence to state/federal regulations.

Qualifications include current NJ CMA certification and NJ HHA/CNA certification, with a preference for at least six months of senior care experience and weekend availability. Competitive pay and part-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ CMA certification and NJ HHA or CNA certification.
• Minimum of six months experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, hospital, or long-term care preferred.
• Able to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with medication administration per care plan and physician orders; supervise LPN as delegated.
• Complete required annual medication training per state requirements.
• Keep accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Provide resident care per care plan to meet needs and maintain dignity, privacy, and comfort.
• Attend in-service trainings and comply with policies and procedures.

Part Time Certified Med Tech

Pay Range

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Overview

Responsible for providing quality care and services to all resident and their families. Provide assistance of medication administration for resident according to their care plan and physician’s orders.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under the delegation of the RN including supervision of the LPN.
• Completes required annual medication training, per state requirements.
• Completes company required medication training modules.
• Provide resident care to ensure care needs are met according to the resident’s care plan.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity in the delivery of services to residents
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled.
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned, including care tasks/assignments as needed and delegated.

Qualifications

• Must have a current NJ state CMA required certification and valid NJ HHA or CNA Certification.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment preferred
• Able to work some weekends
