Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in California is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for residents. You will administer meds, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents throughout and after passes.

Requires HS diploma, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation. Senior care experience is preferred; on-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
