Cogir Senior Living in Torrance, CA is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to support residents with medication administration and daily living activities in a team-based, resident-centered environment.

You will assist with medication administration, follow care plans, and help ensure comfort, safety, and well-being for our residents while working closely with a caring team and participating in weekend rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months of medication administration experience.
• Memory care experience a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report status changes.
• Manage medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and engage residents through companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment programs.
• Maintain open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
