Location

Plainsboro, NJ

Shift Hours

Per Diem: 11 pm – 7:30 am. Every other weekend/holiday rotation – as needed. Eligible for shift differential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze biological samples adhering to Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform and document quality control and maintenance functions.
• Maintain ongoing competency in all areas of testing performed.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety and regulatory practices.
• Communicate well with physicians and other ancillary services.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, or laboratory science/medical technology science.
• Non‑US based education must be evaluated and certified as per US Standards via WES.

Related Work Experience

• Recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting (required).
• ASC certification.

Licensure/Certification

• Medical Technologist (ASCP or NCA) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or previously qualified prior to 2/28/92 under 42 CFR 493.1427.
• Unqualified candidates must be eligible to take the ASCP exam within 6 months of hire.

Salary

$29.48 – $47.01 per hour; specific rate determined by experience and education.
