Colonial Garden, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for full-time 7am-7pm roles. Our team delivers medication administration and resident care oversight in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Qualifications

• State-approved Medication Aide course completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to protect resident privacy per HIPAA.
• Experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Promote and protect residents' rights with dignity and respect.
• Attend in-service and continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Remain calm and professional under stressful conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information in HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to community dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Complete documentation accurately and informatively.
• Report all changes in a resident's condition promptly to supervisors.
• Complete assigned tasks and schedules according to community policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely, using only equipment for which training has been provided.
• Implement infection control practices consistently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures, reporting safety violations appropriately.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely in an environment caring for seniors without posing health or safety risks
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively
