Colonial Garden, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking a Certified Medication Technician for a full-time, 7am-7pm role. Candidates will provide medication administration and resident care oversight in a modern Assisted Living with Memory Care.

The position requires completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course and CNAs/certifications, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care, documentation, and HIPAA compliance.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completed State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or CNA certification required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely with seniors.
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain positive working relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
• Promote and protect residents’ rights, treating them with dignity and respect.
• Attend in-service and educational programs, completing continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Remain calm and professional under stressful conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Adhere to community dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Complete documentation accurately and informatively.
• Report all changes in a resident’s condition promptly to supervisors.
• Complete assigned tasks and schedules according to community policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely, using only equipment for which training has been provided.
• Implement infection control practices consistently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures, reporting safety violations appropriately.
