Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for the 2nd shift at The Reserve at Mills Farm in North Carolina. The role focuses on medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high-quality resident support. The team offers exposure to a modern care model with emphasis on dignity, confidentiality, and ongoing education, including required training

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight.
• Maintains residents’ rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and completes required CEUs.
• Ensures confidentiality of residents’ information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to community dress code.
• Documents clearly and promptly; reports changes in a resident’s condition to supervisor.
• Operates equipment safely and follows training protocols.

Navion is seeking Certified Medication Technicians that have experience as a Resident Aide for medication administration-related roles. Our Medication Technicians are responsible for delivering high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and obtains continuing education required by state regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintains professional appearance by adherence to community dress code.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• All changes in a resident’s condition are reported as soon as possible to the supervisor.
• Work schedules and assigned tasks are completed in accordance to the established policies and procedures of the community.
• Operates equipment in a safe manner and the only equipment utilized is that which previous training of use has occurred.
• Infection Control precautions and practices are utilized with all activities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire and emergency procedures. Reports all safety violations.

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course & test.
• Personal Care Assistant or ever been a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members.
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
