Job summary

Bridgeway Park Lansing is seeking a Med Tech to provide compassionate care for residents. You will assist with daily living activities, administer medications per physician orders, and support safety and cleanliness in a senior living environment.

Full orientation and ongoing training are provided. The position offers benefits and paid time off, with opportunities for growth. Availability every other weekend is required and a background check is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As Med Tech you will be in charge of:

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians' orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
