Job summary

Bridgeway Park Superior in Michigan is seeking Med Techs to provide compassionate care and support to our elderly residents. You will administer medications, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

We offer orientation and training, paid time off from day one, room for growth, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision for full-time staff. Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Experience with medication administration and caring for seniors.

• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities.

You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents. As Med Tech you will be in charge of:

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
