Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech in Orlando, FL. The role involves assisting in administering medications to residents, maintaining care records, and communicating changes in residents’ conditions to the team.

You will ensure safety and resident satisfaction while adhering to company guidelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma and a valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification, plus at least one year of experience with medications and the elderly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Medication Aide/Technician Certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Minimum one year experience with medications and the elderly.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Must possess all required licenses and/or certifications if required by State licensing authority.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents following company guidelines.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, staff and vendors.
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.
• Comply with all health, safety and regulatory requirements.
