Job summary

Monarch Communities seeks a Med Tech per-diem to provide high‑quality medication support to residents. You will administer medications under RN/LPN supervision, document care and maintain records per regulations, while preserving residents' dignity and comfort.

The role requires passing Medication Technician training, a high school diploma, and the ability to work weekends/holidays in a per‑diem schedule.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regs.
• Strong communication skills and HIPAA compliance.
• Minimum six months' experience with seniors (P/C/H/H LTC).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with medication administration per care plan and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide resident care to meet care plan needs.
• Ensure privacy, dignity, and comfort in service delivery.
• Document changes in residents' condition and report to supervisor.
