Job summary

The Palmettos of Garden City is seeking a Med Tech to join our care team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, assist residents with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for an assigned group of residents.

Qualifications

• Attend in-service programs, as assigned, to learn procedures and develop skills and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/LPN supervision, provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents.
• Accurately chart nursing care and observations.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharge procedures.
• Administer medications per physician orders when applicable.
• Adhere to center policies and procedures.
