Job summary

The Palmettos of Garden City is seeking a Med Tech/Caregiver to join our team. This role provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, helping residents with daily living activities and personal care while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities include assisting in admissions, transfers, discharges, and post-mortem care when needed, along with routine vital signs, documentation, and adherence to center

Qualifications

• Direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Administer medications per physician orders (as allowed).
• Assist in and accompany patients with daily activities and routines.
• Record vital signs and participate in patient care documentation.
