The Palmettos of Bluffton in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Medication Technician to join the NHC family. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, including daily living activities and basic comfort measures for residents.

Responsibilities include safe medication administration, assisting with transfers and admissions, and ensuring a respectful, dignified care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be certified nursing assistant or enrolled in a nurse aide training program.
• Attend in-service programs to learn procedures and develop skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide morning and evening care, including ADLs and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications to residents in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment and report concerns to nursing staff.
